R12.5 Golem Grad

Your "wherever there is a circle in Golem Grad there is a tent in the Tents puzzle."
and the IB's "The positions of the circles in this grid are same as the positions of the tents in the Tents puzzle."
are not correct. There are circles in Golem Grad that are not tents in Tents.
Perhaps the real puzzle will have no extra circles given, unlike in the example? Or perhaps say "The positions of the **solver-added** circles in this grid are same as the positions of the tents in the Tents puzzle."

Also:
The shaded cells must contain a path? Or they can be empty and not pass any relay information on?

The rules are correct, the IB example is wrong ... the IB example will need a major overhaul we have 5 stars from star battle which give 5 trees, which cannot work for golem grad as we need even number of circles. We wll update this in the next iteration.

For the second part, the shaded cells must always contain a path.

12.5 Golem Grad
Usual rule says "at most one number in each white area", is it true here?

Yes this rule is missing from the IB. There will be at most one number in each white area. We will add this in the next iteration.

Round format:

Are the puzzles designed that they can be solved completely in the correct order, or will puzzles potentially require details from later puzzles linking backward? (or you don't want to say)

The puzzles need not solve uniquely in a linear order and linking backward might be required.

I would suggest not calling it a relay then and instead call it something like linked puzzles. I think the term relay implies you give information to the next but not that you need information from the next puzzle to solve the previous puzzle. I think some people might get confused by using the word relay to describe this round.

I agree with this suggestion, and we want to be careful that we don't confuse participants. We will update the wording, and the new example will also display some of the backward transfer of information.
